Cala was full of energy and playfulness. Cala would run outside as soon as I put on the leash to drop and roll in the nearest patch of sunshine. Cala would hang out on top of a step stool in the kitchen acting as head chef and smelling all the ingredients. Cala had the most old soul eyes and would make eye contact during pets or across the room before slow blinking. Cala would trill every morning and lead me to their favorite rug then put their butt up for pets. Then they’d lead me to the kitchen to feed them. They were a fast and graceful climber. I loved watching them run full speed then go straight up the tree trunk or cat tree. They would crawl under the covers to sleep against you and quietly purr. They would catch a toy in their mouth and growl. There is so much I remember and will continue to keep in my heart. I will always miss and love you Cala.
