Moe (“Moe Moe”) was my companion for almost 12 years. He was originally a rescue from Family Dogs New Life and spent his days camping, going to the river, the beach, and playing with his friends. In his later years, his mobility started to slow and he lost his hearing. When he began to have stumbles and often lost his footing, I knew it was time to let him go. He fell asleep with us by his side while eating a steak and salami. Our house feels a little empty without him trudging about but we are thankful for the time we had and that he transitioned to the next life in such peace.
