Dear Sweet Reno,
It’s been a little over 2 months since you transitioned onward and I find that new waves of missing your are visiting my shores. It’s hard some days to bare them but I try to remember that it’s in honoring you that you are still so present in my heart. They say, “grief is the price we pay for love and worth it, one million times over”. Bb misses you too, and cuddling will never be the same without you there but we’ve held each other close through this. I miss your licks, your aggressive snuggles, your daring balancing acts on my back even when your muscles could barely hold you up. I’ll miss how you chirped at the birds and your bravery even in your last days. I’ll never again know a love quite like yours and I was only so lucky to have you in my world. I bring your ashes with me whenever I visit beautiful places and feel you there, sharing the view, I hope you can see it. I love you with all of me.
