Sweet Stella, my angel girl, thank you for 13 beautiful years together. You were my constant companion and my very best friend. Life feels empty without you and I miss you every second of every day. I am grateful that your transition was incredibly peaceful, at home, holding you in my arms, surrounded by all of your loved ones.
You possessed such a healing nature, you were an old soul; sweet, calm and intuitive even at 17 weeks old, when we began our life together. You helped create so much peace for others during your days as a certified therapy dog. You knew exactly which people needed you most. You brought smiles, joy, and allowed people to reminisce about their own beloved pets of former years. You consoled those who were distraught and gave them peace.
I will treasure the love and loyalty you gave me as well as the beautiful memories of the amazing adventures we had together. Life was sweet, and I will forever remember all of the seasons of your life, for they were all the seasons of my own.
